Is this the right breed for me?

Well, I think this is the most important question !
Why would you like a devon rex?
Did you just see a picture in a book or magazine? Or did you have the change to meet and cuddle one?
Are you merely fashinated by the Devon look or are you also
attracted by what you have learned about their temperament and needs?

Not just for its strange look, but especially for its temperament.

When choosing for a breed, the look is of course something to consider, but
the most important thing is to consider HOW the cat will fit into your life and lifestyle.

Would you like a calm and quiet cat who will not bother you with continous attention requests? Then the devon rex is not a good choice !

playing an active role in the family life , well, then the Devon Rex is just what you need.

But please also keep in mind that a devon rex, as all other cats need vet care, a good quality food, cat toys, and all this means costs !
