This was a candid shot taken on the ' automatic ' setting with a Fujifilm S5000 digital camera.

The dam is GCH Algonquin's Pogonia.
Pogonia was National Best Devon Rex for the 2004 show season in CCA.
She was also a CCA Regional Winner in Ontario.
She was shown in one CFA show and finaled as an open in an All Breed ring.
The kitten in the picture, Algonquin's Moccasin, was a very spoiled only child.
Moccasin is a silver tabby and white and will be part of our breeding program.
Since Moccasin had no siblings to play with, her mother became her playmate.
Devons are exceptional mothers and Pogonia adored this kitten and was very tolerant of all her antics.
To me this picture symbolizes the affection a mother cat has for her kittens.
